Disadvantage:

  • Take more time and effort to fine-tune lace tension
  • Need to remove your gloves to tighten
  • The laces can loosen up over the day

SPEED LACE/ QUICK-PULL SYSTEMS

  • Combination of TRADITIONAL & BOA LACING SYSTEMS.

Advantage:

  • Combine convenience and customizable tension
  • Light weight
  • Faster & easier than traditional lacing systems
  • No need to remove your gloves to adjust
  • Allow the forefoot and ankle/lower leg to tighten independent from each other

Disadvantage:

  • Difficult to get really tight
  • Difficult to release tension

  • BOA is comprised of a circular ratchet dial connected to an aircraft-grade, stainless steel lace. 

Advantage:

  • GREAT choice for new riders
  • Quick and easy micro adjustability to your boot fit
  • Easy to operate with one hand
  • Allow the forefoot and ankle/lower leg to tighten independent from each other
  • The grip on your foot is incredibly secure and strong

Disadvantage:

  • Can cause pressure points
  • Difficult to replace when the stainless steel lace (wire) break
